Unmistakably British, the new Bridgwater range from British manufacturer Mereway has everything you would expect in a modern but classic kitchen and more.

With a wealth of range content to choose from this is a kitchen that is very much at the heart of the home, individually designed, each and every time.

The painted woodgrain shaker door has a simple bevelled panel that has less detailing than a traditional shaker panel and is available in 25 stunning colours from Chalk White to Plum.  The kitchen pictured here in Dark Sage and Prosecco takes influences from the ‘greenery’ trend to create a relaxed open space.

As you would expect from the Town & Country collection, this kitchen incorporates contemporary design features such as the open shelving and magazine rack in the island.  The floating breakfast bar with Grey Bardolino UrbanTop adds a fresh twist and provides a social area at the heart of this kitchen, designed for modern day living.

This kitchen also includes a new larder corner unit, with cantilever carousels, offering an added innovative storage solutions.

So if you are seeking a natural look and true individuality then visit a Mereway retailer today and start planning your dream kitchen.

National property and construction consultancy Wakemans has been appointed on a new £1.5million community facility, which is being developed as part of a residential scheme in Tiddington, near Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.

Wakemans is acting as quantity surveyor, employer’s agent and construction design management co-ordinator on behalf of Hayfield Homes, which is building Hayfield Chase, 32 properties – with a mix of one to four bedroom homes – on four acres of a 12-acre site on the north east edge of the village.

The remainder of the land will be retained by the Home Guard Club, a community organisation which currently occupies the site and leases its facilities to a variety of local sports and social clubs.

As part of the residential development, which is within walking distance of the village centre and local amenities, Hayfield Homes will relocate the Home Guard Club from its Main Street site to a new £1.5million purpose-built complex.

A Scout and Brownie hut and a sports pavilion, incorporating upgraded changing rooms, café kiosk, bar and function rooms, are among the new facilities that will be provided. The grounds will also be redeveloped and re-seeded to provide improved football playing fields, a rugby training ground and a cycle track.

Wakemans director James Shelley said: “This is an important development for the people of Tiddington, since it will provide much-needed housing for everyone from first time buyers to growing families.  At the same time, Hayfield Homes is helping to secure the long-term future of the Home Guard Club and provide quality sports facilities for the local community.”

Mark Booth, Managing Director of Hayfield Homes, commented: “Hayfield Chase represents an exciting milestone for Hayfield Homes and we are delighted to start work on site. Each home has been designed to fit in with the local style of the area and will feature a high specification throughout.”

Contractor Greswold Construction is underway with the residential part of the scheme and work on the new Home Guard Club centre, Scout hut and sports facilities is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
