If you have been looking for something different to add a touch of originality to your kitchen, then the stunning new finishes introduced into the exciting and contemporary Cucina Colore range could be the perfect solution.
The new spring additions offer everything you would expect from Mereway’s leading edge collection. Drama, texture, contrast and colour are hallmarks of the new collection that extends both the sophisticated matt woodgrain and the designer metallic doors, with new colours added to the matt painted ranges.
Four new gloss finishes are introduced to the Futura and Lastra ranges. These include a dramatic Dark Elm, a textured Dark Cross Cut, and a Natural Linen that has shades of light and dark and a beautiful on-trend Graphite Linen.
The Graphite Linen is perfect for creating contrast in a modern kitchen, as seen here, when matched with the Pale Grey painted veneer. The wide range of furniture available within Cucina Colore such as open shelving and glazed units provide for stylish storage and transforms a room into a multi-functional living kitchen.
This kitchen also includes a new mirrored plinth and mirrored back panel in the glazed wall units, a unique finishing touch that enhances the contemporary look.

FFS Brands reveals aggressive expansion plans for Southern Fried Chicken High quality quick service restaurant franchise Southern Fried Chicken has ambitious plans to expand its international presence, targeting 120 fully franchised sites within the next three years. The company has enjoyed a period of strong growth over the last 12 months, having opened master franchises in 5 new countries, says UK based President of SFC, Chris Gibson.
“We are forging a strong presence in new areas, including Eastern Europe and the Middle East, where new franchises are scheduled to open over the next few months,” he says.
“We are also experiencing particular success in emerging areas, where some of our competitors have not yet established a presence. The high quality of our offering, the affordable set up costs and a comprehensive support for rapid business development are proving highly attractive to potential master franchisors, who recognise the scale of the opportunity.”
Southern Fried Chicken prides itself on providing locally sourced, high quality, fresh food. Many of its restaurants, although not all, use halal meat. FFS Brands has deliberately positioned the franchise away from the cheap, low-quality processed fast-food marketplace, instead focusing on fair prices, good service and a varied menu that can be adapted to provide region appeal. This attracts a loyal customer base who return time and time again, and adds up to a great business proposition for franchise owners.
“Southern Fried Chicken offers all the benefits of a ‘big brand’ QSR, but at much more affordable cost,” concludes Chris Gibson. “Master Franchise owners have the opportunity to develop a chain of owned stores, or recruit franchisees; whichever option is agreed, we will provide maximum support for an agreed expansion programme over the first two to three years.” Southern Fried Chicken will be exhibiting on Stand L65 at the Franchise Expo Paris, March 22-25th.

A successful trial of the R-Rak vehicle racking system from Trans-Rak has boosted business for Cargo Marketing Services and now it plans to increase the number of car shipments in 2015.
Cargo Marketing Services was seeking a solution to fit a mixed cargo featuring a 4 x 4, a sports car and a saloon in the same container from the UK to a customer in Kuching, Malaysia.
The R-Rak removable vehicle racking system proved extremely flexible allowing the cars to stacked securely in a four pack formation with enough protective space around each car to eliminate the risk of damage during and loading and unloading.
David Horwell, of CMS described how it was achieved: “The load was tight with the Range Rover Sport but having a low profile Porsche allowed it to fit. The secret to it was we got in with RR on the floor and as a result £250,000 worth of new vehicles were delivered without a scratch!”
