KBB and merchant service provider Acres Consultancy has acquired the online recruitment specialist kbbrecruitment.co.uk, expanding their business in line with increasing sales and demand for services.

KBBrecruitment is a niche recruiter for the KBB and home interiors industry that has been established since 2003.  Based in Essex, the company has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service to the jobseeker and the recruiter.

Acres Consultancy has added to its talent acquisition team with the appointment of Ben Paine and Katy Barry.

Ben’s most recent experience is with the provision of contract and interim staff to organisations in both the private and public sectors. Degree educated at Nottingham University in media and communications, Ben has a reputation for quality and professionalism amongst his clients and the candidates he has placed.

Katy has worked for a market leading recruitment support provider offering solutions to both manufacturers and retailers across the UK.

Well known industry professional Ray Isted is the third KBB professional to take part in Acres Consultancy ‘Industry Legends’ series.
Dedicated KBB and merchant service provider Acres Consultancy launched its Industry Legend films to share the thoughts and advice of some of the most successful professionals in the industry.

Ray’s film covers his early career in senior positions at Whirlpool and explores his thoughts on what it takes to be a successful KBB retailer in today’s market.

He urges retailers to research the local market and have a demonstrable point of difference to enable the customer to make their choice.

Ray says, “Retail is a challenging environment for independent retailers and knowledge is key. It is important to stay up to date and invest in a website and training so that customers can not only see that a retailer is knowledgeable but be able to back this up when they visit the showroom.”
