Two Students Scoop Prestigious Marketing Prize

Two marketing students from De Montfort University have jointly won a prestigious prize from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) West Midlands branch.

Connor Jipps and Kerishma Pattni have been awarded The Chartered Institute of Marketing Prize for Best Marketing Project and received a certificate and 12 months membership of the CIM at the awards ceremony last week.

Both students completed a full time degree at the university, Connor has completed a BA Honours in Advertising and Marketing Communications and Kerishma a BA Honours in Business and Marketing.

Both students were praised for the high quality of their projects.  Connor produced a dissertation concerning the impact and effectiveness of celebrity endorsement on the purchase considerations of the millennial audience.  Kerishma produced a project that investigated the role of the multi-sensory and emotional arousal concepts in stimulating hedonic consumption in independent coffee shop.

Tracy Harwood, a member of the CIM Leicester branch committee regional board presented the awards and said, “We are delighted to continue our close relationship with De Montfort University and their marketing students with our awards.”
