FFS Brands reveals aggressive expansion plans for Southern Fried Chicken High quality quick service restaurant franchise Southern Fried Chicken has ambitious plans to expand its international presence, targeting 120 fully franchised sites within the next three years. The company has enjoyed a period of strong growth over the last 12 months, having opened master franchises in 5 new countries, says UK based President of SFC, Chris Gibson.
“We are forging a strong presence in new areas, including Eastern Europe and the Middle East, where new franchises are scheduled to open over the next few months,” he says.
“We are also experiencing particular success in emerging areas, where some of our competitors have not yet established a presence. A successful trial of the R-Rak vehicle racking system from Trans-Rak has boosted business for Cargo Marketing Services and now it plans to increase the number of car shipments in 2015.
Cargo Marketing Services was seeking a solution to fit a mixed cargo featuring a 4 x 4, a sports car and a saloon in the same container from the UK to a customer in Kuching, Malaysia.
The R-Rak removable vehicle racking system proved extremely flexible allowing the cars to stacked securely in a four pack formation with enough protective space around each car to eliminate the risk of damage during and loading and unloading.
David Horwell, of CMS described how it was achieved: “The load was tight with the Range Rover Sport but having a low profile Porsche allowed it to fit. The secret to it was we got in with RR on the floor and as a result £250,000 worth of new vehicles were delivered without a scratch!”
