Leading kitchen and bathroom manufacturer, Mereway has entered the bedroom market with the launch of Trend Bedrooms. The new collection joins the hugely successful Trend Interiors brand that now offers the full portfolio of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, and has established a reputation for quality and value with independent retailers.
Like Trend Kitchens and Bathrooms, the bedrooms collection is based around simplicity and value for money. There are five door styles that offer both a traditional and contemporary look and eleven colour coordinated cabinet choices.
Sales & Marketing Director Graham Jones believes that existing bedroom products do not offer the consumer what they are looking for and that Trend Bedrooms will set new standards.
“The range has been designed with ease of installation in mind. Recent tests have shown that a robe unit can be assembled by a single fitter in just six minutes. In addition the cabinet design incorporates a clever, ‘pop-up’ top panel making the scribing and fitting of a cornice easy. The breadth of the range is outstanding with nine sizes available from 300mm to 1000mm, giving greater design options and less wasted space in the bedroom.
“We believe this is a real innovation in the industry and will enable us to compete in a market which until now has been dominated by the large chain store retailers. With Trend Interiors, we can provide customers with great quality and competitive prices, but with the added support and service of a network of experienced kbb specialists,” he says.
Trend Bedrooms is available now with great deals on displays and a comprehensive showroom support and training package.

Moseley businessman and hard hitter Harley Williams has joined the team at BanaBay to head up the UK sales team.
Entrepreneurial Williams joins the fruit grower and distributor at a time of rapid expansion and consolidation as business development manager to focus on UK customers.
A keen sportsman with wide experience and a strong background in sales and business management, Harley enjoys the challenge of competition and intends to take on the big names in bananas, building market share for BanaBay.
In just under two years, the new fresh fruit brand has built a global business from its Birmingham headquarters, starting with exporting one container of bananas a week from its Ecuador plantations in 2012, rising to over fifty containers a week worldwide in Q1 2014.
Commenting on his new appointment, Harley says:
“I am genuinely excited to be heading up the UK division of BanaBay. Our international team are young, vibrant and passionate, which are great qualities to drive a new premium brand business and already we have experienced some significant successes. I believe that there is an immediate opportunity for BanaBay to challenge the established giants in this industry with our premium products and I am looking forward to making a real impact at BanaBay.”
