Colour in the bathroom can be subtle touches that add warmth and vibrancy to a stark white and chrome environment. For those looking for the alternative, a big bold colour that makes a design statement, Mereway Bathrooms ultra-modern Vogue Black Gloss is perfect.
Black can be contemporary and chic as well as bold, it has a real ‘wow’ factor and provides a stunning contrast to a classic white bathroom suite.
The smooth gloss finish and handleless doors are combined with stylish sanded oak and the eye catching modular units create an illusion of space. This bathroom takes on a ‘Zen’ like quality and reflects a boutique hotel style that is increasingly popular in the home.
Mereway Bathrooms Vogue is available in eight other exciting finishes, Aubergine and Red Gloss, Lime, Fiore and Tigrato Silk and three textured animal prints.

Grey is currently one of the trendiest neutrals in kitchens and the latest addition to the Trend Interiors collection, Avola creates a modern exciting look, with its textured finish and unusual grain.
The new White and Grey Brown Avola includes a white door that has a distinctive and lively grain with a delicate blue/grey tint that’s really special, with the Grey Brown option offering a perfect contrasting tone.
These finishes can be mixed or matched, for a fresh, airy design and in common with the other Trend Interiors’ kitchens will prove popular with people who love the designer look but appreciate the affordable price tag.
Launched last year, Trend Interiors kitchens became an instant hit, particularly with younger and first time kitchen buyers. “True to its name, this range was designed to be a trend-setter,” says Trend Sales & Marketing Director Graham Jones. “Available to view and purchase online, as well as in showrooms, Trend appeals to younger, web savvy customers and offers the accessibility and price range of a mass kitchen retailer with the design expertise and customer service focus of a kitchen specialist.”

Following the successful launch of the new BanaBay brand of bananas in the UK, managing director Mark O’Sullivan reports strong growth within the first quarter of the year.
“We have seen weekly imports increase by 150% since the beginning of the year,” he confirms. “That is equivalent to 300,000 extra bananas a week, which is fantastic news for a brand new to the market. Within the last few weeks alone we have opened three new UK accounts, with more coming on stream, and we have also started shipping green bananas into Europe.”
The high quality fruit, which is shipped by part owners of BanaBay Logistic Partners, from extensive, well-established plantations in Ecuador, has proved a hit particularly with wholesalers, who appreciate the flexible service and competitive prices.
Although the general trend for bananas has been disappointing so far this year, BanaBay is bucking the trend, Mark says.
“We ripen our bananas to the precise condition required by our customers,” he explains. “When shipping into Rotterdam for distribution across Europe, we supply green bananas, but here in the UK, we ensure the fruit reaches its destination at just the right point of ripeness to maximise shelf life and returns. As a result, we’re fast gaining a reputation for reliable supply and outstanding service as well as excellent product quality. As newcomers into the market, we’re determined to make a difference, and so far increased demand for BanaBay bananas and our impressive rate of growth speaks for itself!”
