Charlotte Conway launched her first bathroom design studio with bubbles a plenty last month. Invited guests were treated to a special wine tasting at the launch event.

The selection of champagne and sparkling wines, provided by Ian Harvey of The Wine Tasting Company were inspired by the stylish surroundings and matched to the finest Italian mosaics, Swarovski crystal and the very best British craftsmanship.

The Charlotte Conway Design studio features a stunning range of designer pieces from the Starck ceiling-mounted shower that sits over the stunning Roundell Bath, to the Bisazza Springrose Nero design walls in the WC, it’s luxury all the way.

Aged just 27, this is Charlotte’s first studio but she has already garnered a host of high-profile domestic clients and commercial projects and was a previous finalist in the KBB Young Designer of The Year Award.
We are delighted to be working with Charlotte to help her launch her studio and build a national profile for her as the next Kelly Hoppen- we predict it won’t be long…

We’re thrilled that care franchise company Kare Plus has trebled its network within the last six months, recruiting no fewer than sixteen new franchisees since May.

“We are delighted with the results of our marketing this year and have ambitious plans for further growth in 2013” Kare Plus Managing Director Steve Welsh confirmed. “We’ve expanded our in-house team and will be looking to DDPR for continued support in achieving our goal of 60 franchisees by this time next year!”

Changes within the healthcare sector together with an ageing population have created exciting new opportunities for independent businesses to provide staff and services to the NHS and Local Authorities, as well as privately operated hospital and care home groups. DDPR has been helping Kare Plus to raise awareness of the opportunity and to present its strong franchise proposition to potential franchise owners nationwide, promoting its unique business model with a view to generating high quality recruitment leads.

Our intrepid client Vehnet has been keeping us on our toes this year. Always looking for imaginative ideas, they have been guinea pigs for various innovative approaches over the years and tend to embrace most of them with gusto! The latest project has been to support the automotive logistics software specialists in their quest to reach out to the rapidly developing marketplace in India. ‘Project Naked Banana’ – which is not as naughty as it sounds – has involved marketing a book written by industry journalist Ramesh Kumar and sponsored by Vehnet to automotive OEMs and Logistics Services Providers (LSPs) in the subcontinent.

Managing Director Steve Jones’ blog has detailed his adventures travelling with Ramesh around stock yards in India, we have sent an eblast to a database of contacts in the world of automotive logistics in India and Steve has taken part in the Automotive Logistics India conference, held this year in Pune.

‘In case you’re wondering about the intriguing book title, apparently ‘peeling your own banana’ is a well recognised saying in India, meaning one should take responsibility and control, rather than looking to others to ‘peel the banana’ for you!
